Edelweiss introduces a new non-stop flight between Zurich and Guanacaste, starting November 28

Swiss airline Edelweiss will start new flights between Zurich (ZHR) and Liberia (LIR), Guanacaste next November 28.

This is a new gateway for European travelers, especially from Switzerland, to visit our country.

Edelweiss will fly weekly, arriving at Guanacaste on Sundays at 20:50 and departing to Zurich at 20:00, on an Airbus A340-300, with a total of 334 seats.

According to data from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, Switzerland represented the seventh source market for tourists from Europe prior to the start of the pandemic. In 2019, 27,841 Swiss travelers were registered.
