Costa Rican authorities announced recently that beginning April 1, 2022, all COVID-19 entry requirements will be eliminated.
This means that Health Pass and travel insurance policy requirements will be eliminated for all individuals. However, a travel insurance policy is recommended to cover medical expenses and lodging in the event of COVID-19 infection.
Other safety measures will still be applied in public areas and commercial establishments, such as hand washing protocol and mask use.
Our country has managed to reduce the number of infections and over 10 million vaccine doses have been applied country-wide.
