Today Costa Rica received the first passenger’s cruise ship since March 2020 when our borders were closed due to the pandemic. Windstar Cruise Star Breeze arrived to Golfito, in the South Pacific coast, with a welcome message from Costa Rica´s Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Segura.

Following health and safety protocols – and with a wonderful day ahead – we took travelers to explore several natural attractions of the region, including dolphin watching in their natural habitat, a kayaking adventure, and a rain forest bath at Golfito Wildlife Refuge.

The Star Breeze will keep cruising our pacific coast from south to north for the rest of the week and it is the first of many cruise ships that will call into Costa Rica this season.
