Government authorities and Manuel Antonio Park administration announced the reduction of visitor limit, establishing it to 1120 persons per day.

For travelers wishing to visit this specific park, it is advised to reserve tours in advance as much as possible, to assure ticket availability, especially during high demand seasons.

Visiting Manuel Antonio National Park is much more than a walk and enjoy time in the beach, it is exploring the rainforest, its biodiversity and wildlife.

This park is Costa Rica’s smallest national park. The diversity of wildlife in its 6.83 km2 (3 sq mi) is unequaled, with 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds. Both brown-throated three-toed sloth and Hoffmann’s two-toed sloth are a major feature, as are three of Costa Rica’s four monkey species.

We encourage visiting with a certified naturalist tour guide in order to have the best experience, and book the visit in advance with us.

In case clients insist in visiting the park on their own, we recommend to book the entrance ticket as soon as possible online through the park official website: https://serviciosenlinea.sinac.go.cr/
