This is some basic requirement checklist for travelers who are national of residents of Canada in their return to their home country.

– A pre entry COVID-19 test, with no exceptions for vaccinated travelers.

You have to take the test within 72 hours of your scheduled departure time. Antigen test is not valid.

– Book a 3-night hotel stopover at a government approved hotel.

Another COVID-19 test will be taken upon arrival to the airport, then you have to wait the results at this hotel.

– A 14-day quarantine plan upon return.

All this and other information must be submitted to ArriveCAN within 72 hours before your arrival.
