Enjoy the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a system of trails immersed in the rainforest, where you will find 16 hanging bridges, also you will be delighted at Tabacon Hot Springs where you will find several pools that flow across Tabacon River and are heated directly from the volcanic veins of the Arenal Volcano. Then will be time to explore Monteverde Cloud Forest an area of great wealth where 3,021 species are known, including 755 species of trees, besides being considered site on the planet with the greatest diversity of orchids, over 500 species, of which there are 34 endemics, making Monteverde a paradise for nature lovers. In addition, it is the ideal place for bird watching, being the most famous of these the beautiful quetzal. Finally, you will continue the trip to the beautiful coast of Guanacaste, in the Costa Rican North Pacific, where beaches are known for their great combination with jungle, perfect to enjoy the natural surroundings and the warm waters site.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: LIR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – ARENAL VOLCANO
Upon your arrival at Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR), one of our representatives will be waiting at the exit of the airport to welcome you to Costa Rica, provide the necessary information for your trip and then take you where the transportation will be waiting for you to depart to the Arenal Volcano area. On the way, we will pass through the towns of Bagaces and Cañas where you can enjoy the characteristic dry tropical forest of the area. The last part of the route will be along Arenal Lake with its beautiful views, and as we approach the Arenal area, if the weather conditions are favorable, you could see one of the greatest natural attractions of the country, the imposing Arenal Volcano with its almost perfect conical shape.
Registration at selected hotel where you will stay for the next two nights will be done.
Day 2: ARENAL VOLCANO
Breakfast & Dinner
During the morning, we will visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a system of trails immersed in the rainforest, where you will find 16 hanging bridges that were built considering all types of visitors and their security. This tour is adorned by magnificent views of the imposing volcano and you will find a huge variety of species such as mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and insects making it one of the most complete visits in the area.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a visit to the magical Tabacon Hot Springs. Here, you will find several pools that flow across Tabacon River and are heated directly from the volcanic veins of the Arenal Volcano. These soothing waterfalls will make you feel rejuvenated due to all the benefits they provide. These springs help improve blood circulation and oxygenation, removes toxins from the body, stimulate metabolism, help digestion, promote relaxation and improve the functioning of the nervous system, which make Tabacon a must-visit destination. The exotic gardens that surround this place will definitely make you enjoy a natural and unique environment that will make you feel completely stress free. To close with a flourish, you will enjoy a delicious dinner before being transferred back to the hotel.
Day 3: ARENAL VOLCANO – MONTEVERDE

At mid-morning, the transfer to Monteverde cloud forest is scheduled. This transfer includes a boat ride across the majestic Lake Arenal, the largest in the country, where you can watch many birds visiting the lake in search of food. Hills and forestlands, as well as the impressive Arenal Volcano cone surround this place. Across the lake, it begins the climbing to the tops of the mountains; this final part of the transfer is done on dirt roads, so you will have more opportunity to enjoy the beautiful rural scenery of the mountains on this region.
Afterwards, we will get closer to the mountains where you will enjoy the beautiful rural towns that adorn the gravel road and as they are approaching the high end, you can feel a slight change in temperature since this place is located more than 1300 meters above sea level. Day 4: MONTEVERDE

Day at your leisure to explore on your own around the Monteverde Cloud Forest characterized by its spectacular protected forests, which are home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. If you prefer to add adrenaline to your trip, you can enjoy adventure activities like the Sky Walk, which is a network of hanging bridges built in the forest trails, horseback riding, or Sky Trek Canopy tour. In addition, you can enjoy a cultural experience by visiting the Trapiche, a butterfly garden, or CASEM, which is a women’s cooperative in the area, offering crafts designed by housewives’ heads of household. Also for nature lovers, it is the ideal place for bird watching, being the most famous of these the beautiful quetzal. Whatever your preference is, Monteverde will make your experience unforgettable and 100 % natural.
Day 5: MONTEVERDE – GUANACASTE BEACH AREA

During the morning, you will continue the trip to the beautiful coast of Guanacaste, in the North Pacific of Costa Rica, where beaches are known for their great combination with jungle, perfect to enjoy the natural surroundings and the warm waters site. All scenic and picturesque rural villages along the Panamerican Highway accompany this route, where you can notice the change between the rain forest and the tropical dry forest that characterizes the province of Guanacaste.
Finally, upon reaching the coast, you will enjoy three nights’ accommodation at selected hotel.
Days 6 & 7: GUANACASTE BEACH AREA

These days are available to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities; you could also consider making some of the optional excursions, (extra cost) offered in the area. Guanacaste is known for its natural reserves, which are home to an incredible concentration of flora, fauna and natural beauties. Some of the suggested sites are Rincon de la Vieja National Park or adventure activities like canopy, horseback riding and hiking. If you prefer, you could also visit Liberia downtown, adorned with its colonial buildings of great historical value.
Day 8: GUANACASTE BEACH AREA – LIR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

After an unforgettable visit to Costa Rica, it is scheduled the transfer from your selected hotel in Guanacaste to LIR International Airport to board your flight back home.
