The Guanacaste Mountain Range is a beautiful region with impressive landscapes, warm weather, and various ecosystems that protect dry tropical forests, primary rainforests, and dense cloud forests.

The Tenorio River flows from these highlands to empty into the Nicoya Gulf through an impressive canyon with an abundance of wildlife in its riverbanks.Along the 2 hours paddling down the river (8 miles), you will enjoy the lush scenery and strong currents with Rapids Class III / IV with splashes every time and a lot of fun.
