Costa Rica’s government announced that mask use is now optional in our country.   It is only mandatory for medical personnel and in health centers and hospitals.  

This measure comes at a moment when costa Rica has over 85 percent of its population vaccinated; authorities still advise to keep using social distance, hand sanitation, and remaining isolated in case of any symptoms.
