Did you know that 80% of the pollution on a trip is generated by its flights?

To compensate for these emissions, Swiss Travel is joining the Neutralfligth community, to promote greater environmental awareness and participation on every flight, by supporting triple-impact projects to offset the CO2 emissions generated by flights to Costa Rica.

Neutralflight is an easy-to-use web app that includes blockchain technology and allows you to offset the tourist carbon footprint related to air flights with security, traceability, and transparency. 

With Neutralflight we manage an Eco Mile program. Once the Neutralflight user offsets the emissions of an air trip, they are credited with a certain amount of Eco Miles, equivalent to the nautical miles traveled during a flight per passenger.

We are proud to share with you this new environmental program and from now on, we are going invite our clients to compensate their flights, as a voluntary action.

Swiss Travel is committed to sustainability and since 2018 had been awarded as a Carbon Neutrality company by the Costa Rican Government by measuring, reduce and compensating our carbon footprint, under the ISO 14064-1: 2006, INTE B5-2016, GHG Protocol / IPCC.

But now we want to go a step further, not only decarbonizing the emissions of our direct operation but also by inviting customers to offset the carbon footprint of their flights to visit Costa Rica.
