Pacific Aerial Tram is an eco-tourism project of 90 hectares of protected forests, which offers the safest way to discover not only the most interest and exuberant hidden secrets of the tropical forest but also scenic views of the Pacific Coast during a tram ride, offering you a different perspective of this natural paradise.
Located at only 30 minutes from Los Sueños Marriott, you will be travelling in a comfortable tourist transportation and once you arrive to the Aerial Tram Park, you will be welcomed by the staff and will receive the recommendations while you are in the jungle.
During the next 2 hours and accompanied by an expert naturalist guide, you will learn all the hidden treasures of this forest.
Afterwards, you will aboard the open-air gondolas with canvas awnings that flies slowly above the treetops. Along the 1.8km aerial tram circuit, you will explore every level of the tropical transitional forest, from the ground to the treetops. The rugged topography means that the tram skims the forest floor, and then soars to a maximum height of 130 feet above the jungle. The scenery and the magnificent ocean views are stunning and a relaxed environment and a peaceful experience in harmony with nature complement it.
Excursion continues with a visit to the Butterfly Garden, a dome of 400 square meters that helps control the temperature inside the garden, allowing guests to admire the butterflies without worries about the changing weather. The 30 minutes’ walk provides an educational experience regarding not only of the lifecycle of these wonderful insects (from egg, to caterpillar, cocoon, and finally adult) but also the importance of the conservation of nature and reforestation as well as the recreation of habitats for butterflies.
At the end of the trails, there is a small section of medicinal plants where you will learn their uses, harvesting and relevance.
