Great combination on nature discovering the magic of an active volcanic hike and a relaxing end at the thermal hot springs.

The Rincon de la Vieja National Park is the only active volcano in the Guanacaste Mountain Range, their volcanic elements can be found right in their surroundings.

A 3-hour hike at Las Palas trail will allow you to see bubbling volcanic muds, steamy sulfur water ponds and some fumaroles, along with beautiful scenarios with open fields for perfect pictures.

The abundance of habitats makes this area one of the most ecological diverse refuges in Guanacaste, make it a wildlife paradise for monkeys, sloths and dozens of birds.
